Today I was reading scriptures with Ashlyn (she is 3) and she says, "Mom, you just have to say, And it came to pass Nephi came to me." It is so cute to me how they start learning the language of the scriptures at such a young age.

LOST

Last week I am driving down the road and I see this.

So of course I drive in. And I see another sign. I know that they film Lost over here by my house a lot but I have never seen them doing it. So when I drove in I only saw some guys cutting trees.

On my way back from the store I swing in again and this time there are some guys getting ready to unload make-up mirrors. I asked him if they were filming there and he said they would be the next day. Of course I went back the next day but I couldn't see any of the filming. I did see their trailers and stuff but no Jack or Kate :) I really don't think it would have been too hard to walk down to where they were filming but I am too chicken. I ended up talking to the 'security gaurd' and he said they never have any open filming. Dang that was one of my goals while I was here was to see them filming Lost. No not really but I did want to see some of the places they filmed at so this was fun for me. It was also cool just knowing they were filming it just 5 minutes away from my house.

Did These People Really Go to Medical School???

I went to the Doctor the other day and wow these people here make me laugh. First of all this is my 3rd Doctor to go to for the same problem. I have these two big bumps on my legs and I have no idea what they are. They look like I hit my leg on something but I haven't. So I have already lost complete confidence in the Doctors from out here from my 2 prior experiences. Well this Dr. seemed a little more knowledgeable so I was thinking good he may be able to give me an answer and then he asks me, "So did you fly out here ...or drive?" Wow, if anybody knows a way to drive across the Pacific Ocean let me know.

Tonight we went to our first Hawaiian Luau. The food was horrible but it was a lot of fun. After we went to the night show at the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was a great show. Even Kembri was entertained for the whole hour and a half.

The girls went up on stage and learned a hula dance. They thought that was REALLY cool!
