HAWAII

For those of you that don't know Craig is going to BYU-HAWAII. So we got here on Wednesday. It has been really fun. I was very nervous about coming out but I have really been enjoying it. We live about 2 streets away from the beach which is really fun. Where we are at is really nice because one way we have sandy beaches that are very private and on the other side we have a beach park that has a playground and basketball courts. So we are really close to everything we need :) minus a grocery store (and any entertainment) but hey who needs to eat, right:) We don't have a car right now so the first day we rented a car and did a lot of the things we needed to do with that but as of right now we are just riding the bus. It is surprisingly fun. It is just totally different then what am am use to. It is funny because both times I have rode it we have met other LDS people on it. The very first day here, I thought how in the world am I going to last living here even for one semester but then just today I was laying on the beach thinking I could live here forever:) I am curious to see how I am liking it in a couple weeks. It is just so different out here. We have wild roosters that wake us up every morning. At one time I looked out my window and it looked like at least 10 running through my backyard. The people here have been SOO nice though!! I was at Costco and Kembri got an egg and cracked it all over all by stuff and I didn't realize it until I was checking out. The people were so nice about it. They went and got me knew stuff! And I find that everywhere I go. I haven't gotten a chance to do any of the touristy things yet though so I am excited for that!! Ashlyn's 3rd Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ASHLYN!!!
Since we already had a party for Ashlyn and Lacie we decided to not do a big huge thing for there Birthday's. So for Ashlyn's we went to the park. When Craig got home we had Brownies (instead of cake) and presents. I think she had a pretty good time! We also went in the backyard and took some pictures of her. Here are some of them.

Lacie really wanted to have a party with her family before we left for Hawaii. And she has always wanted a surprise party. So two nights before we left I decided to through her and Ashlyn a surprise party. Lacie was so happy. But poor Ashlyn found out about 1 hour before the party that she had a horrible ear infection and the beginnings of pneumonia. She was pretty miserable. I don't think she cracked a smile the whole night! But boy was she excited the next morning when she was feeling better and saw all the presents she got...WOW she was happy!! Thank you everybody so much for coming it really met a whole lot to Lacie!! We sure do love our families!

Our Cancun Trip

So we were suppose to be going to Cancun this weekend with Craig's work, but our girls all got sick so we could not go :( Alexa and Ashlyn both got pneumonia. Kembri, Lacie, Alexa and Ashlyn all had HIGH fevers (Alexa's was at 104 for a couple days) and some of them were throwing up. It was a pretty miserable week! Lacie got such a bad ear infection that she lost some of her hearing and Ashlyn's was even worse. We were really sad we couldn't go to Cancun but there was just no way I could leave the girls like that. But it was kind of funny, while we were trying to figure out our options of possibly changing our flight and going for just a couple of days we figured out that I think Craig's company made a mistake. They had us flying in on Friday afternoon and not checking in to the hotel until Saturday. With all the things that went wrong I just don't think we were suppose to be going!! :)

1st Time Snowboarding

For Christmas Craig took me snowboarding. It was a lot of fun...well ok A LOT of falling!! But still fun. We invited Craig's sister, Kristina, and her fiance, Rick, to come with us. It was Craig, Kristina, and my first time. Craig and Tina got the hang of it pretty fast but of course I didn't. :) It was actually pretty embarrassing ..well it actually wasn't but it should have been! But we had a blast. I am actually going to try to go back this week so I can figure it out.
