Celebrating our Birthday

Craig works everyday except for Sunday. On Saturday he works from 8:30 until about 11:00. So he was gone all day on my birthday so we celebrated it today. We were also celebrating his since he will have to work on his as well. I knew this was the only day we were going to have him home and able to go and do fun stuff with him all summer. So I spent a lot of time trying to plan everything we wanted to do so we wold be able to fit it all in one day. Well all the planning didn't help, things still didn't go as planned. But do they ever.

First we wanted to go to a temple session because here they only have them on Tues., Thurs., and Fri. at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm. Then on Wed. and Thurs. at 10:00 am and 11:30 am. And then some on Sat. Well since Craig works Monday-Friday from about 11:00-11:00, then all day on Saturday, he can't ever go. So we felt this was a great opportunity. We left the house a little late so we got to the temple 3 minutes till 10:00 and they had already started the session. We had a babysitter so we couldn't wait until the 11:30 session. Luckily we were able to get into do initiatory work which I always enjoy. I really enjoyed it this time though.

Then we went and picked up the girls and went to Red Robin. We ate there a few weeks ago and they told us if we get online and sign up the would email us a coupon for a free hamburger on our birthday. So we did that. Alexa's birthday was on May 26 and they even sent us one for her. So we all had lunch for $10 including tip. That was a good Birthday present! :)

After that we decided to go to the water park because they are having elephant rides there all week long and we thought that would be cool to do. Well we got there and I only had about $9 in my purse and they wouldn't take a check. It cost $5 per person including Ashlyn. I knew it cos that much I just didn't think they would be that strict and I was hoping they would just take my check. And the worst of it was that I couldn't ride because I am pregnant. So Craig was going to ride and we were going to come back on Saturday, with Cash, so the girls could ride. I was afraid that the girls would be scared to ride though so we decided to go find an ATM and just get money out so everybody could ride right then. Lacie and Alexa said its wings were hitting their legs. I think they met his ears :). Alexa did get scared at first but Craig just grabbed her and put her on then she wasn't scared.

We asked them if I could at least sit on it since they wouldn't let me ride it. So me and Ashlyn sat on it together. It feels so much bigger when you are on it. Its ears do flap on to your legs it is kind of wierd. But it was fun to be able to sit on it even if I didn't ride it.

The Water Park
Part of the lake is part of the water park so they have different activities on the lake this was one of them. They have trampolines and they usually have climbing walls and slides too but they didn't have them out today. Lacie is always to scared to swim out to the trampolines in the lake so Craig took them out there today. Alexa still got scared but Craig and Lacie had fun.

We just watched them from the beach. Ashlyn was mad she couldn't go but she had fun smiling for the camera.

Here are some other pictures at thee water park.

This is right be the entrance so every time we come and every time we leave the girls have to go and put their faces in it.

Ashlyn always runs up and stands up to this as if she is saying, "Am I tall enough, yet?"

Our Night Out
After the water park we went home and got everybody bathed and we got a babysitter and Craig and I went out. We have been planning on going to The Hard Rock Cafe for a while because I have never been there and it seemed kind of fun. Well last week Craig happened to sell a security system to one of the cooks there. He said to come in and he could get us 50% off our meal, maybe even totally free. So we thought great this will be fun. Well we got there and asked if he was there and they said he wasn't working that night. Just our luck! So we were trying to decide what we wanted and nothing looked good to me. Being pregnant I am rather picky or should I say my stomach is picky. I just couldn't find anything that sounded good so I asked Craig if he just wanted to go somewhere else. I felt funny leaving but I also didn't feel like eating something that didn't sound good. So we left and decided to go toward the movie theater and find food there. I was craving Olive Garden so bad, which is unusual for me. During pregnancy at least this pregnancy I don't usually feel like any food let alone crave things. But we had no idea where a Olive Garden was we did find a Macaroni Grill but I don't really like that very much. So we finally decided on a place next to the theater which ended up being ok.

After that we went to see Oceans 13. I have been so excited to go to a movie because we haven't been to a movie in a long time. The movie started at 9:40 and I think I was asleep by about 9:43. No I lasted a little longer but not much. I use to be able to stay up all night so easily. But now with kids and being pregnant I can't stay up late at all!! Craig jokes with me and says we just need to get a bunch of 5 minute long movie because thats all I need to fall asleep. It is so sad to me because I really enjoy watching movie at night. Oh Well.

Then to make my wonderful night even more special I got my Lovenox today so I was able to finish the night off with a wonderful shot.

Even though most of the day didn't turn out as planned it was so wonderful being able to be with Craig. I love him so much and miss him so much this summer. I knew it would be a hard summer not having him around much but I didn't realize it would be this hard. So even if today would of turned out to be the worst day ever(which I am glad it didn't!!!) I would have loved it because I spent it with Craig!! I know that sounds kind of dumb but if you ever spend 4 months without having your husband home much at all you would realize how completely true and honest I am being.

My 26th Birthday

Happy Birthday to me ... Happy Birthday to me...
Today is my birthday. Craig has to work all day but he is taking off Wed. So I am looking forward to that! Craig and the girls woke up early and made me breakfast. He also went to the store and bought me roses they are so beautiful. When Lacie was little we decorated for her birthday and Craig put up some crate paper for her to run through and she remembers that every birthday. So for everyone's birthday now they have to run through crate paper. So I was no exception. Then they had me open some presents. Then Craig was off to work. So me and the girls just went to the water park, went to Wendy's for lunch (because I am not cooking on my birthday:)), after naps we went back to the water park where they were having Rides and Slides which is like a carnival. So we went to that. Then we went to Ross to get some stuff for Father's Day, then we had Arby's for dinner, then to Kinko's because I had to do stuff for church. Then we went home and I put the girls to bed. Not a lot of special Birthday stuff but me and the girls still had fun.
