Happy Birthday, Alexa

Of course we had to start with traditional birthday girl pancakes. :)
Craig had to work so we decided to have a Birthday picnic at the park and invited most of the people Craig works with. One of the presents Alexa got was a High School Musical suitcase. She was so funny with it she carried it around EVERYWHERE she even was pushing it on the swings...and then surprised when it fell off. That girl is too funny!

Disneyworld
Here are a few pictures from when we went to Disneyworld. We had a lot of fun.

Craig picked to go up on stage to be one of the extras in the Indiana thing that they do there...doesn't he look cute :)

And we got to end our trip with a wonderful trip to the Orlando Temple. Craig took this beautiful picture.

NASA and Cocoa Beach
So we arrived in Orlando sometime around 7:00 in the morning on Monday. So we got checked in to our hotel and even though we had been driving most of the night of course couldn't take a nap with 4 kids so we decided to go to Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach. It was a lot of fun. I wish we could have gotten closer to the actual NASA center but they won't let us due to security :). It was still really cool seeing it. And of course the girls had fun at the beach...except Lacie hating the salt water. And Alexa would not even touch the water but she had fun building sand castles. After we left she said she would touch it next time. Ashlyn loved the water!!!

Our Roadtrip to Florida
Starting our journey....One state down, 4 more to go.

We drove through New Orleans and I was surprised there is still so many vacant/boarded up homes...

We stopped on the beach in Mississippi and ate lunch. Craig and the girls had a blast feeding the birds. One bird flew over and grabbed Lacie's sandwich right out of her hand!

We finally made it to Florida. We ended up driving straight through. We kept planning on stopping at hotels but when it came down to it we decided to just sleep a couple hours in the car and keep going. Craig and I were driving separate cars so it actually made it nice so we could talk and keep each other awake. I still can't believe we made it though...3 days of driving, 2 cars and 4 kids ...Crazy!
